In 2010, during difficult times for quality journalism, I had to leave a 10-year profession behind, and reinvented myself.
ENTREPRENEUR: I explore ideas and build projects from scratch in communication for teams and leadership, journalism, Himalayan storytelling, and education.
MANAGER & CONSULTANT: Seven years of experience in communications management – e.g. Advisor within the Romanian Government – Cabinet of Dacian Cioloș; Director of Communications for the national TV broadcaster;
INSTRUCTOR: I work with students at the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Studies – University of Bucharest, as an instructor and coach;
JOURNALIST: A 10-year background in business journalism. I interviewed over 100 decision makers throughout my activity – entrepreneurs, CEO-s, top and middle managers. I ran exclusive interviews for Romania with John Kotter, worldwide expert in Leadership and Transformation and Philip Kotler, founder of modern Marketing;
MOUNTAINEER: Part of a German mountain climbing expedition to Himalaya, Nepal in 2012. I reached an altitude of 19,680 feet on a remote, technical mountain at the North of Annapurna range. I have worked with several mountaineers ever since, including Denis Urubko, one of the most innovative and strong mountaineers of all times;

That’s my favourite verb. Given my background in journalism, the instinct to explore new opportunities in the world of content came naturally.
It must be entrepreneurial DNA. I introduce new methods, ideas and products for leadership, communications and more.
That’s the outcome. I build projects around ideas born out of life, rather than forced into life. There’s a great team I work with.
